Our highly successful client based in Solihull are recruiting for a Trainee Business Administrator on a permanent basis, reporting to the National Account Manager.

Duties include:

  • To support the Account Managers internally with organic growth as well as the ‘after sales’ care of the client
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers in person, via telephone calls and emails
  • Understand the needs of the client and deal with queries in a suitable and efficient manner
  • To create and maintain an interdepartmental relationship within the company 
  • To support the Account Managers by creating reports which are sent to clients on a weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly basis
  • Use data as a learning tool for your further knowledge enhancement
  • Work closely with the team and attend to any queries efficiently when asked to do so
  • Have a good understanding of the operation, the products and services that are offered to ensure a good, sound knowledge-base and skillset is gathered
  • Review own performance and aim to meet or exceed targets as required

Candidate Requirement 

  • Educated to at least GCSEs or equivalent level
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Work well under pressure and with a varying workload

Technical Competencies 

  • A positive, can-do attitude, to learn and progress within the team
  • Effective call/email handling skills
  • Time management, organisation, prioritisation and coordination skills
  • IT literate and has good knowledge of all Microsoft packages
  • Basic understanding of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), or a willingness to learn
  • Taking ownership and being responsive
  • Communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to work well as part of a team 

Hours :Mon-Thu 8:30am - 5:00pm, Fri 7:30am - 4:00pm

Salary: £19,836
