Hollyfield Personnel are working in partnership with a fast-growing manufacturer and distributor who are recruiting for an all-rounded IT person to be part of its small team to provide IT support services across users, infrastructure and application system to facilitate its growth in their European offices.

This position provides the opportunities to explore different fields in Information Technology, and direct involve in EU business & operations. 

 Duties will consist of the following 

EDI & e-Commerce
 
•   Coordinate between corporate EDI team and new/existing trading partner. 

▪  Troubleshoot and resolve issues affecting the software infrastructure and e-Commerce website. 

▪  Maintaining accurate records of transaction and warehouse logistical 

▪  Monitoring daily electronic information exchange and alerting issues 

▪  Monitor the health status of our eCommerce systems

 

Program management 

•        Work with the other IT members of the corporate groups to coordinate & plan the implementation of application systems.

•        Participate in implementation tasks (including configuration, and testing) as needed to meet project timelines and deliverables

•        Responsible for post implementation supports and training to the users. 

•        Manages all issues throughout the project’s cycle, coordinates with other teams to make sure all issues are resolved in a timely manner

•        Analyse user requirement and propose IT solutions based on knowledge of existing infrastructure

IT support 
 

•        Provide IT end-user support and troubleshooting, 

•        IT Support covering  PC/Laptop/IP Phone/Printer hardware, Windows Desktop, & Cloud Applications including O365 & AWS

-        Server administration, O365 & Active Directory maintenance (add/delete user) - Network troubleshooting

 
Experience & Education

•        3+ years of experience in the IT industry 

•        Experience with or knowledge of EDI implementation ( preferred not essential ) 

•        Bachelor's Degree in IT, MIS, Computer Science, or related field 

Functional Skills & Knowledge

•        Understanding of EDI standards and practices 

•        Exposure on Magento

•        General understanding of B2B / e-commerce, and fulfilment processes preferred

•        Good all-rounded tech skills on desktop, server and network administration, configuration and troubleshooting

•        Fluency in written and spoken English, with a good ability to interact both internally and externally, and a demonstrated ability to convey complex ideas clearly and as simply as possible.

•        Knowledge of German language would be advantageous

 Hours

Monday - Friday 9.00 am - 5.00pm  - Some flexibility is needed 

Salary 

Negotiable DOE
