First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Chauffeur on behalf of one of our clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a professional, discreet and highly reliable driving service for a private family, predominantly supporting the father, who is a senior leader within a well-established business. The role will involve a mixture of business and personal driving requirements, including business trips into London, corporate events, airport transfers, social engagements and assisting with the transportation of family members.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate excellent driving standards, professionalism and discretion, alongside the flexibility to work varied hours depending on the family's requirements. Previous experience within security, close protection, military, policing or other high-risk environments would be highly desirable.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Providing a professional and discreet chauffeur service to the principal and family members.
- Driving the principal to and from business meetings, offices and appointments, particularly within London and the Cotswolds.
- Providing transport to and from corporate events, dinners and other business engagements.
- Airport transfers, including early morning and late-night journeys.
- Providing transport for family members to social events, appointments and other personal engagements.
- Supporting the family with ad-hoc driving requirements as and when required.
- Planning journeys in advance, taking into consideration traffic, road closures and potential delays.
- Maintaining a high level of punctuality and ensuring the principal arrives at destinations safely and on time.
- Maintaining a high standard of presentation and cleanliness of the vehicle at all times.
- Carrying out routine vehicle checks and reporting any maintenance requirements.
- Demonstrating complete discretion and confidentiality regarding the family's personal and business affairs.
- Maintaining a professional and courteous manner when dealing with clients, colleagues, event staff and members of the public.
- Remaining calm and professional when working under pressure or in unfamiliar and challenging environments.
- Adapting working hours to meet the requirements of the principal and family, including evenings, weekends and early mornings where necessary.
- Assisting with security-conscious travel planning and maintaining an awareness of potential risks and hazards.
- Representing the family in a professional manner at all times.
- Previous professional driving or chauffeur experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent knowledge of London and the Cotswolds and the surrounding areas.
- A clean, full UK driving licence.
- Excellent driving standards with a strong focus on safety and passenger comfort.
- Previous experience within security, close protection, military, policing or another high-risk environment is highly desirable.
- Experience working with senior executives, VIPs or high-profile individuals would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly professional, discreet and trustworthy.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
- Flexible approach to working hours and availability.
- Ability to plan journeys effectively and anticipate potential issues.
- Smart, presentable and professional appearance.
- Comfortable working independently and taking responsibility for the safety and wellbeing of passengers.
- Strong understanding of confidentiality and discretion.
- Full UK driving licence.
