Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently supporting one of our established and expanding businesses in the search for a Chassis Convertor.

Duties and Responsibilities for the Chassis Convertor:
  • Modify and convert vehicle chassis to meet specific customer or manufacturer requirements
  • Carry out chassis extensions, shortening, reinforcements, and structural alterations
  • Fit subframes, crossmembers, mounting brackets, and body supports
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, build sheets, and technical specifications
  • Perform cutting, welding, drilling, and fabrication work to a high standard
  • Install mechanical and electrical components required for chassis conversions
Skills and Qualifications for the Chassis Convertor:
  • You will need to have previous experience as a Chassis Converter
  • A resilient person is someone who has strong coping skills and can draw on these when life presents challenges.
  • To ensure personal and team success, being motivated is essential and is a key part of your role and it is part of being a brilliant team player.
  • Precision in carrying our installations to ensure safety and performance standards.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete tasks within timeframes to meet customer demands and maintain efficiency.
