First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Class 1 Driver on behalf of one of our clients.
This role involves driving to either of the palletised freight partners to collect freight.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- To drive to the palletised partners to deliver and collect freight.
- Supporting the Transport Manager and Shift Supervisors where required to ensure all health & safety regulations are met.
- Ensuring that you are pro-active in ensuring your CPC training is kept up to date (paid for by company).
- Complying with all health & safety regulations as set out by company and regulatory bodies.
- Dealing with all pallet partners & colleagues politely and with respect.
- Ensuring any issues are raised through the appropriate channels in a professional manner.
- Acting as a positive representative for the company at all times, ensuing your appearance and that of your vehicle, always reflects this.
- 45 hours per week, Tuesday to Saturday.
- Hours to be worked between 1830 and 0630 (with 1 hour lunch break).
- Saturday mornings: 0700 – 1300 (Once per month).
- Requirement to cover 2 shifts: 0430 – 1430 (90% of the time), 0700 – 1700 (10% of the time).
- Monday support where required.
- CPC C1 qualification required.
- At least 12 months experience driving a Class 1 vehicle.
- 22 days holiday per annum (plus 8 bank holidays).
- Required CPC training.
- Uniform.
- EAP scheme.
