Salary: £30,000 per annum
Hours: Monday–Friday, 07:00–16:30 + 1 in 2 Saturdays 08:00 - 12:00

Overview:

First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a leading building supplies company to recruit a 3.5T Driver based in Woking. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong work ethic and professional driving experience. Ex-military applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a 3.5T vehicle to deliver building materials to customers and construction sites.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects in line with company procedures.
• Ensure timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of customer service.
• Assist with loading/unloading of materials, ensuring safe handling at all times.
• Represent the company professionally with all clients and site personnel.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with the logistics team.
• Comply with all road safety and Health & Safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Full UK Driving Licence (Category B).
• Experience driving a 3.5T vehicle.
• Good geographical knowledge of Woking and surrounding areas.
• Physically fit and able to handle manual lifting.
• Punctual, reliable and customer-focused.
• A background in the military or construction/logistics industry is highly desirable.
