Location: Wigan

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 Per Annum

Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Heat and Air Pump Engineer on behalf of one of our clients.

Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Service and maintenance of ASHP and GSHP
  • Install plumbing systems in new construction projects or renovations
  • Inspect and repair water supply lines, drainage systems, and fixtures
  • Collaborate with contractors, construction workers, and other professionals on job sites
  • Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective solutions
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
  • Adhere to safety standards and building codes at all times
  • In addition to your normal duties, you may occasionally be required to undertake additional work necessary to meet the needs of the business, without additional remuneration
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Plumber or relevant role
  • G3 unvented is ideal but training can be given
  • Proficiency in basic math for measurements and calculations
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to assemble and disassemble plumbing components
  • Capability to perform heavy lifting as required
  • Technical fault finding of some description preferable
  • Demonstrable success in the technical arena
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams
  • Sound understanding of all commercial aspects associated with projects
  • Ability to work alongside large parent organisation
  • Carpentry skills for minor construction tasks
  • Familiarity with different types of pipes and fitting
