Overview:

First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic International Defence business who are looking to recruit a BIM Microstation Engineer on a permanent basis due to growth.

This position can be based in either Hamilton (Scotland) or Birmingham. The role is also hybrid too.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Day to day, you’ll prepare quality 3D BIM models and engineering drawings on a wide variety of engineering projects.
Integrate 2D & 3D models with including typical and bespoke objects
Produced detailed and accurate engineering drawings from 3D models
Collate all relevant documents including drawings and specifications
Assist senior staff in the production of technical reports

Skills and Qualifications:

Good amount of practical CAD experience
Design experience from within Civil, Structural environments preferred
Must have experience of using Bentley MicroStation
Experience of AutoCAD
HNC / HND level qualification in relevant engineering subject
Member of a professional institution desirable
