Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to quotation and sale.
- Meet, present and demonstrate products to prospective clients.
- Work with production team to ensure that machine specification, lead times, FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and site installation dates are realistically achievable.
- Regularly receive training for full understanding of all product types and company processes.
- Enhance and promote company products and presence in the marketplace via media platforms, website and direct company contact.
- Maintain and improve relationships with existing clients or use existing or available databases to communicate with potential clients for all product types.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
- Regularly present revenue reports and realistic sales forecasts to the management team.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Successful previous experience selling labelling or packaging machinery and consumables as a sales representative or sales manager, constantly meeting or exceeding targets.
- Have an understanding or previous hands-on experience in engineering/packaging/labelling machine projects.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence decision makers.
- Computer literate including understanding and current use of CRM tools and common media platforms.
- Flexibility to cope with new and changing demands of the position.
- Ability to work as part of a team, show initiative and work independently.
- Full clean driving licence for UK travel as and when required.
