Overview:

First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic business who are looking to an Internal Engineering Support professional on a permanent basis due to growth located at their Head Office in Wednesbury.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintaining a sense of urgency, identify the needs of the customer and provide guidance on metalwork cutting tools product related searches.
Using your hands on manufacturing engineering experience, make recommendations on product application suitability offering support on product selection.
Where applicable, provide customers with machining advice for optimum performance including feeds and speeds and other technical information.
Actively participate in understanding enquiries by phone/conference calls/email, ensuring high levels of communication throughout and identify solutions.
Complete email enquiries in a timely manner offering pro-active solutions.
Provide Pricing Guidance for sales opportunities exceeding £1000.00; educating on how decisions have been made, promoting associate decision-making development.
Using your experience and knowledge, pro-actively identify the training needs of the internal associates and where applicable, design and deliver training sessions to enhance the customer’s experience.
Working as a team, achieve all core service metrics, upholding the Customer Service Promise.
Promote an “Easy to Do Business With” ethos by maintaining a positive can-do attitude on all internal and external transactions.
Have a commercial awareness, of the industry, margin and product, share cross functionally to help improve/maintain customer experience across departments.
Any other duties in line with business and departmental needs.
