Assistant Management Accountant

Orka Financial is partnering with a growing business based in Hook who are looking to hire a progressive Assistant Management Accountant (AAT/ACCA/CIMA studier) to join their clients established finance team. The role requires experience in assisting month-end accounting tasks.

- Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Support cash flow monitoring and forecasting
- Assist in cost analysis and margin reporting to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Help manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders
- Support the preparation of variance analysis between actuals, budgets, and forecasts.
- Maintain and update financial databases, spreadsheets, and reporting templates.
- Assist in audit preparation, providing schedules, explanations, and supporting documentation as required.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the finance function.
