Management Accountant
Windlesham | Permanent| £45,000 - £50,000 per annum
Orka Financial is currently working with a business based in Windelsham that is looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join the team. The role will cover management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and month end responsibility.
The main purpose of this role is to provide timely, accurate and insightful management accounts for the businesses P&L’s which will support business decision making
Duties include,
Coordinate and lead the month end process for the preparation of the month end accounts
Complete all balance sheet reconciliations
Produce and process period end journals
Review all sales and costs with the management to ensure that coding and accruals are correct, and all variances are explained
Coordinate variance analysis and commentary for monthly management accounts
Participation in the regular forecasting and annual budget process
Support the Finance Business Partners to produce variance analysis of forecast and budget variances for management reporting packs
This role would suit someone who has solid management accounting experience and may be studying towards an accounting qualification. You will be a strong communicator and team player who can work well in a small finance team and adapt when necessary.
The business operates hybrid working (3 days a week office based/ 2 home)
