Finance Manager
Uxbridge | Permanent, full-time| £55,000 - £65,000 per annum
Orka Financial is working with an acquisitive, global company to recruit a Finance Manager that will look after a recently acquired business. This role will have great variety across hands on accounting, analysis, business partnering and a number of interesting projects. The role will be based in Uxbridge and it will be 4 days per week in the office.
Responsibilities:
Finance Business Partner to the business unit leadership team, providing vital decision support analysis to drive business growth.
Ownership and responsibility for the financial month end and year end close including financial review against latest forecast and prior year with insightful variance commentary.
Responsible for monthly balance sheet reconciliations ensuring accuracy of monthly accruals and prepayments
Ownership of planning process including 3-year long term planning, budgeting, and periodic forecasting including financial review with insightful commentary for variances to plans and prior year.
Support financial analysis for capex investment decisions and quarterly reforecasting
Responsible for day to day financial operations including AR, AP, VAT Returns and cashflow monitoring.
Ensuring appropriate financial governance and control is in place and is being adhered to.
Liaise with external audit teams as required.
Profile:
Qualified accountant CIMA/ACCA/CA.
Proficient in Microsoft packages, specifically advanced Excel e.g. Pivots, Xlookup etc.
Strong numeracy skills and mathematically competent
Experience of working in a fast-paced environment and dealing with multiple tasks.
Must be numerate, be able to multitask and determine priorities.
Must be able to work without close supervision and have the initiative to deal with problems as they arise or refer to Head of Finance for further investigation.
Salary:
£55,000 - £65,000 + bonus + benefits
