Orka Financial is partnering with a global business based in Newbury who are looking to hire a skilled and detail-oriented Finance Assistant who has a proven track record of raising purchase orders, processing invoices, and effectively managing supplier relationships. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of their financial processes, contributing to the financial stability of the organisation.

Responsibilities:
- Raise purchase orders accurately in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with various departments, ensuring purchase orders meet the requirements and specifications.
- Assist with audit duties
- Process incoming invoices efficiently, matching them with the corresponding purchase orders
- Pro actively resolve any discrepancies or issues related to invoices, working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain a positive and professional relationship with suppliers, facilitating effective communication and ensuring timely deliveries
- Proven experience in raising purchase orders, processing invoices, and effectively managing supplier relationships.
- Providing finance support for ad hoc finance projects
