Position Overview:

The incumbent will play a pivotal role in driving the operational excellence of the consultancy. This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and effectively, and maintaining high standards of service delivery. The Director will report directly to the Managing Director and collaborate closely with the Commercial Director and other key stakeholders.

 
Key Responsibilities:

- Operational Leadership: Lead and manage the operations team, including project managers and technical specialists, to ensure the successful delivery of all projects.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company’s ESG goals and objectives.
- Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain quality control processes to ensure the highest standards of project delivery and client satisfaction.
- Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources efficiently to maximize productivity and operational effectiveness.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Commercial Director to align operational activities with business development goals and client needs.
- Performance Monitoring: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the performance of operational active and identify areas for improvement.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational risks to ensure the smooth execution of projects and maintain business continuity.
- Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best practices and encouraging innovation within the operations team.
- Compliance: Ensure all operational activities comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to the Managing Director on the status of operations and project progress.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in relevant operations management, with a strong background consultancy business. Proven track record in delivering high-quality ESG consultancy services is highly preferred.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of ESG principles and sustainability practices.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), CMC (Certified Management Consultant), CRM (Certified Risk Manager), LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), GRI Certified (Global Reporting Initiative), or other relevant credentials are a plus.
