Guildhall is recruiting for a leading machinery manufacturing client specializing in Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) in Sharjah.

The Parts Controller will act as the champion of the spare parts department, managing all aspects of parts handling under the guidance of the Service Manager. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient parts management and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

1. Spare Parts Management:
• Handle all aspects of the spare parts department, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to company guidelines.
• Manage customer parts requirements and process orders in the service management system.

2. Logistics Coordination:
• Work closely with logistics companies to expedite the delivery of parts to customers.
• Coordinate with clearing agents for machine shipments from the port to Saif Zone and from the warehouse to different
customers.

3. Inventory Control:
• Replenish the regional spare parts centre based on consumption trends.
• Follow guidelines for minimum and maximum stock levels and reorder points as set by the manager.

4. Liaison with HQ
• Maintain constant communication with the HQ parts department for information on shipping costs and tracking details.

5. Auditing and Reporting:
• Conduct bi-weekly audits of spare parts inventory.
• Prepare and send monthly spare parts reports to the manager.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in parts control or a similar role within the machinery manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of inventory management and logistics.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Proficient in-service management systems and MS Office.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
