We are seeking an experienced General Manager to join our client, a leading exporter of all kinds of scrap metals, including both ferrous and non-ferrous varieties, on a global scale. Our client has established a solid reputation in the industry for their high-quality products and extensive international reach. As they prepare for significant growth and expansion in 2024 and beyond, they are looking for a dynamic and established General Manager who can lead this transformation and drive the business forward. Job Description:

The General Manager will play a critical role in overseeing all aspects of the company’s operations, including managing staff, budgets, and day-to-day activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for formulating and implementing a comprehensive strategy that aligns with the company's expansion goals. This involves not only optimising internal processes to enhance productivity and efficiency but also establishing robust policies that support sustainable growth. In addition to strategic planning, the General Manager will be tasked with fostering a positive and productive work environment, ensuring that all team members are aligned with the company’s goals and motivated to perform at their best. By effectively managing people and resources, the General Manager will help propel the business towards achieving its ambitious targets.

 

Responsibilities:

- Overseeing daily business operations.
- Developing and implementing growth strategies.
- Training low-level managers and staff.
- Creating and managing budgets along with Improving revenue for the company.
- Providing solutions for employee hiring.
- Evaluating performance and productivity.
- Analyzing accounting and financial data.
- Generating reports and giving presentations.

- Professional with more than ten years of experience within the industry
- Extensive experience in handling all grades of Ferrous Scrap, Non-Ferrous Scrap Metals, Paper and Plastics Scrap, and other miscellaneous scrap materials.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing operations across Europe, India, Middle East, Africa, America, United Kingdom, South America, Far East, and Subcontinent ports.
