Guildhall represents this esteemed EPC organization, actively seeking a qualified and experienced Instrument Supervisor to contribute to its dynamic team in the Oilfield Gathering Pipeline and WellPad Area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing on-site support to the Oilfield Gathering Pipeline and WellPad Area Superintendent, ensuring Construction activities align with Company and Project Instrumentation standards and procedures.
  • Overseeing Instrumentation discipline works, ensuring compliance with Quality Assurance and Control, and adherence to Detailed Engineering design and specifications.
  • Managing the installation, testing, and calibration of newly deployed systems and equipment, leading tests, procedure development, and ensuring conformity during pre-commissioning works execution.
  • Acting as the primary Supervisor for the construction site, coordinating work-front sequences and collaborating with construction managers to ensure alignment with the Construction Level-3 Schedule.
  • Participating in and witnessing Vendor site activities as necessary.
  • Ensuring strict compliance with Detailed Design/specifications for planning, coordination, execution, and follow-up of all installation/pre-commissioning/commissioning activities.
  • Leading calibration works for all field instruments.
  • Proactively anticipating and addressing problems related to interface issues during Instrumentation installation/pre-commissioning and commissioning works.
  • Conducting regular site visits to assess Contractor work quality and delivery, intervening as needed to align with the project schedule.
  • Supervising Site Instrumentation interfaces to ensure alignment with Company/Project standards and procedures for Construction Contractor, Sub-contractors, and Instrumentation Vendor representatives.
  • Collaborating with other Discipline Superintendents on Instrumentation discipline activities and effectively managing interfaces with other disciplines.
  • Maintaining positive relationships with Partners, demonstrating flexibility while ensuring strict adherence to project objectives.
  • Liaising with other disciplines as needed to enhance Team effectiveness and achieve project objectives and targets.
  • Interfacing with QA/QC personnel to address quality issues and progress monitoring.
  • Monitoring workforce productivities and progress relative to the schedule.
  • Ensuring compliance with HSE instructions, rules, and procedures, in addition to monitoring Project environmental performances and environmental protection.
  • Participating in daily/weekly/monthly meetings as required.
  • Compiling necessary reports (daily/weekly/monthly) related to the Instrument Supervisor's discipline and scope for the Oilfield Gathering Pipeline and WellPad Area and Construction Manager.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degrees in electrical/Instrument/Telecoms engineering or equivalent trained qualifications.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas industry, specifically in large construction projects, with a thorough knowledge of various safety regulations, standards, and procedures.
  • Good knowledge of codes and standards related to the Instrumentation discipline.
  • Recognized expertise in construction discipline with a good understanding of TOTAL E&P general specifications/Contractors in oil and gas construction projects.
  • Familiarity with applicable Oil and Gas Industry International Codes, Standards, and best Industry Practices.
  • Awareness of other disciplines and significant experience in multi-discipline teams or projects.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, along with a good level of computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office. English proficiency is mandatory.
