Job Overview:

The Construction Supervisor for process installation plays a crucial role in overseeing and approving construction activities while coordinating various elements of project construction. From inspections and material submissions to working closely with contractors and ensuring compliance with standardized construction work processes, this role is pivotal in executing projects efficiently and within budget.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Supervising and approving construction activities, coordinating inspections, material submissions, and working drawings.
  • Implementing standardized construction work processes, procedures, manuals, and systems for Wellpad projects.
  • Organizing, coordinating, and supervising construction activities in accordance with schedules to ensure timely project completion.
  • Resolving difficulties and problems in collaboration with contractor representatives and, if necessary, with the Construction Superintendent.
  • Assisting the Construction Warehouse Organization with material and equipment inspection and preventive maintenance.
  • Managing all aspects of Wellpad process construction activities, including site investigations and surveys, in collaboration with other client Construction Supervisors.
  • Reporting key issues, events, progress, and recommendations for improvement to the Construction Manager.
  • Ensuring the completion of required deliverables, such as scope of work write-ups, isometrics, piping plans, and bills of materials.
  • Coordinating with clients and construction personnel to address client input and job requirements in line with contractual obligations.
  • Overseeing quality control checks and tests for foundation acceptance, grout release, equipment acceptance, and more.
  • Leading the development and review of method statements for discipline construction activities to ensure compliance with project Quality and HSE requirements.
  • Supervising and coordinating the activities of construction supervisors and engineers within assigned areas, ensuring safe working conditions and adherence to project schedules.

Qualifications/Experience Required:
  • Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in mechanical and piping, construction management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in the Oil and Gas industry, specifically in large construction projects, with comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
  • Good knowledge of drawings like P&ID, Isometric, GA, and effective management of manpower, lifting activities, documentation, and erection methods.
  • Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to Mechanical and Piping discipline, with mandatory familiarity with ASME B31.3.
  • Recognized expertise in construction discipline, including knowledge of TOTAL E&P general specifications and contractors in oil and gas construction projects.
  • Full conversance with applicable Oil and Gas Industry International Codes, Standards, and best Industry Practices.
  • Good awareness of other disciplines, significant responsibility in multi-discipline teams or projects.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, coupled with a good level of computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office. English proficiency is mandatory.
