FM Operations Director

We are seeking an experienced Operations Director to oversee the entire operations. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in business development, sales and marketing, planning, budgeting, facility and maintenance, engineering, and strategic goal setting.

Responsibilities:

Business Development and Strategy:

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to drive growth and expansion.
  • Evaluate market opportunities and identify potential clients for new contracts.
  • Establish and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Set strategic goals and objectives for the company and evaluate their achievement.

Contract Management and Service Delivery:

  • Ensure that the contract delivers services to acceptable standards.
  • Develop and establish customer service and budgetary standards.
  • Establish work plans and staffing requirements for each project phase.
  • Recruit and assign personnel according to project needs.
  • Monitor and review annual and life-cycle replacement maintenance programs.
  • Negotiate contracts and establish policies and procedures for effective operations.

Financial and Operational Performance:

  • Take responsibility for the financial and operational performance of the contract.
  • Monitor and control costs to ensure profitability.
  • Set staffing levels in compliance with business specifications.
  • Monitor and evaluate staff performance and subcontractor activities.
  • Ensure efficient and effective service delivery to meet client requirements.

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Provide strong leadership to the operations team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to review ongoing operations, address issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and coordinate monitoring and inspection programs to ensure high-quality customer service.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with customers and employees.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in hard/soft services within top FM companies.
  • Project management experience, preferably in the airport industry.
  • Holding Engineering Certification (MMUP / UPDA).
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven track record in business development and achieving growth targets.
  • Sound financial acumen and ability to manage budgets effectively.
