Purchasing Manager

Guildhall is a leading recruitment agency and we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Purchasing Manager for our client, a fit-out turnkey contractor based in Dubai, UAE. Our client is a well-established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fit-out solutions to a diverse range of clients. They are now looking to recruit a Purchasing Manager to join their team and manage the procurement of materials and services for their projects.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures that meet the company's needs
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure the best possible pricing and delivery terms
• Manage the procurement of materials and services, including the selection of suppliers and the placement of orders
• Maintain accurate records of all purchasing activities, including the tracking of delivery schedules and the resolution of any issues that may arise
• Work closely with project managers to ensure that procurement activities are aligned with project schedules and budgets
• Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure the availability of materials and services as required
• Identify opportunities to streamline purchasing processes and reduce costs

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement or related field
• At least 7 years of experience in procurement and purchasing, with experience in the Fit-Out construction industry required
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Knowledge of procurement and contract management processes
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal
