Guildhall is currently partnering with a well-established MEP and construction contractor in Dubai that is delivering several landmark developments across the UAE. We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer – Plumbing & Fire Fighting to support the successful execution of complex building projects. The role will be responsible for managing site operations, technical coordination, testing and commissioning activities, and ensuring that all plumbing, drainage, LPG, and firefighting systems are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

- Review plumbing, drainage, LPG, and firefighting design drawings, calculations, specifications, and BOQs to ensure compliance with project and authority requirements
- Lead design coordination, hydraulic calculations, pipe sizing, and review of shop drawings and builders' work drawings
- Supervise the installation, testing, flushing, disinfection, and commissioning of plumbing, drainage, LPG, and firefighting systems
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, authorities, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical and site-related issues
- Prepare and review material submittals, method statements, ITPs, and technical documentation
- Lead and supervise site teams to ensure quality, productivity, safety, and timely project delivery
- Monitor project progress, manpower allocation, and material requirements to achieve project milestones
- Verify installations for compliance with NFPA, IPC, UPC, local authority regulations, and project specifications
- Support design changes, variation orders, value engineering initiatives, and cost optimization opportunities
- Participate in project coordination and technical meetings with stakeholders
- Lead testing, commissioning, and performance validation activities for plumbing and firefighting systems
- Prepare as-built drawings, O&M manuals, commissioning records, and final handover documentation
- Ensure all works are executed in accordance with approved HSE requirements and company procedures
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- UAE Society of Engineers registration
- Dubai Civil Defence (DCD) or relevant local authority approval is preferred
- Strong knowledge of NFPA, IPC, UPC, ASHRAE, and other relevant international standards
- 10–12 years of experience in mechanical engineering and project execution within the construction industry
- Minimum 8–10 years of GCC experience, preferably within the UAE
- Proven expertise in plumbing, drainage, LPG, and firefighting systems for large-scale commercial, residential, hospitality, industrial, and mixed-use developments
- Strong experience in installation, testing, flushing, disinfection, and commissioning of plumbing and firefighting systems
- Experience with local authority approvals and compliance requirements
- Experience in district cooling condenser water, potable water, sewerage, stormwater, treated sewage effluent (TSE), and utility infrastructure projects will be a strong advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Familiarity with Primavera P6 and/or MS Project is preferred
- Strong leadership, coordination, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
