We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Engineer – HVAC to join their project delivery team. This is a key role responsible for managing the execution, coordination, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems while ensuring compliance with project specifications, authority requirements, quality standards, and project schedules.

This is a key role responsible for managing the execution, coordination, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems while ensuring compliance with project specifications, authority requirements, quality standards, and project schedules.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review HVAC design drawings, calculations, specifications, and BOQs to ensure compliance with project and authority requirements
- Lead HVAC design coordination, cooling load reviews, equipment selection, and shop drawing development
- Supervise the installation, testing, balancing, and commissioning of HVAC systems including chillers, pumps, AHUs, FAHUs, FCUs, ductwork, piping, and associated equipment
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, authorities, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines to resolve technical and site-related issues
- Prepare and review material submittals, method statements, ITPs, and technical documentation
- Lead and supervise site teams to ensure quality, productivity, safety, and timely project delivery
- Monitor project progress, manpower allocation, and material requirements to achieve project milestones
- Verify installations for compliance with ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, Dubai Municipality, Dubai Civil Defence, and project specifications
- Support design modifications, variation orders, value engineering initiatives, and cost optimization opportunities
- Participate in project coordination and technical meetings with stakeholders
- Lead testing, commissioning, and performance validation activities for HVAC systems
- Prepare as-built drawings, O&M manuals, commissioning records, and final handover documentation
- Ensure all works are executed in accordance with approved HSE requirements and company procedures
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- UAE Society of Engineers registration
- Dubai Civil Defence (DCD) or relevant local authority approval is preferred
- Strong knowledge of NFPA, IPC, ASHRAE, SMACNA, and other relevant international standards
- 10–12 years of experience in HVAC engineering and project execution within the construction industry
- Minimum 8–10 years of GCC experience, preferably within the UAE
- Proven expertise in HVAC systems for large-scale commercial, residential, hospitality, industrial, and mixed-use developments
- Strong experience in installation, testing, balancing, and commissioning of HVAC systems
- Experience with local authority approvals and compliance requirements
- District cooling plant installation and commissioning experience will be a strong advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Familiarity with Primavera P6 and/or MS Project is preferred
- Strong leadership, coordination, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
