Guildhall is proud to be supporting a leading engineering and construction company in Dubai on a portfolio of prestigious high-rise residential, commercial, and hospitality developments across the UAE.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Engineer – Electrical to join their project delivery team. This is a key role responsible for overseeing the execution, coordination, testing, and commissioning of electrical and ELV systems while ensuring compliance with project specifications, authority regulations, quality standards, and project schedules.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Review design drawings, technical specifications, BOQs, and shop drawings to ensure compliance with project and authority requirements
  • Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of LV and ELV systems including power, lighting, fire alarm, CCTV, access control, structured cabling, and related systems
  • Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical and site-related issues
  • Lead and supervise site engineers, supervisors, and electrical teams to ensure quality workmanship and timely project delivery
  • Prepare and review material submittals, method statements, ITPs, and technical documentation
  • Coordinate with civil and MEP teams to ensure smooth site execution and avoid construction conflicts
  • Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures, inspection requirements, and approved methodologies
  • Liaise with local authorities for inspections, testing, approvals, and final project closeout
  • Monitor project progress, manpower utilization, material status, and resource allocation
  • Support testing and commissioning activities and ensure proper documentation of results and certifications
  • Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and highlight project risks, constraints, and mitigation plans
  • Support variation assessments, change requests, subcontractor evaluations, and procurement activities
  • Lead the preparation of as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and handover documentation
  • Identify value engineering and cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or performance
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across all site activities
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Registration with the UAE Society of Engineers or eligibility for registration
  • DEWA or relevant local authority approval, or eligibility to obtain approval
  • Strong knowledge of BS, IEC, NFPA, and other applicable international standards
  • 10–12 years of experience in electrical engineering and site execution within the construction industry
  • Minimum 8–10 years of UAE experience
  • Mandatory experience delivering at least one or two EMAAR high-rise projects
  • Proven experience in high-rise developments exceeding 40 storeys, including residential, commercial, and hospitality projects
  • Strong expertise in LV and ELV systems, testing, commissioning, and authority approvals
  • Experience working with DEWA, DCD/ADCD, and Municipality regulations and approval processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and working knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Familiarity with Primavera P6 and/or MS Project is an advantage
  • Strong leadership, coordination, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
