We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer (Civil) to join their project team. This is a key role responsible for supporting site execution, coordinating construction activities, monitoring project progress, and ensuring quality, safety, and schedule compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

- Implement construction programs and site activities as directed by the Project Manager
- Assist with site mobilization, project set-up, and allocation of resources
- Monitor daily construction activities and coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials with site foremen
- Ensure all site works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements
- Assist in developing site organization structures and project manpower plans
- Coordinate with the Planning Engineer to prepare detailed work programs and material procurement schedules
- Prepare monthly forecasts for manpower, materials, and resource requirements
- Monitor progress against project schedules and identify potential delays or constraints
- Review construction drawings and identify discrepancies or technical issues
- Coordinate with consultants, engineering teams, and subcontractors to resolve site-related challenges
- Source materials in accordance with project specifications and prepare technical submittals for consultant approval
- Provide technical guidance and support to site teams during project execution
- Monitor construction quality and ensure compliance with approved specifications and engineering standards
- Attend consultant inspections and ensure timely close-out of observations and corrective actions
- Monitor site safety performance and support the implementation of health and safety procedures
- Recommend improvements to site safety practices and operational efficiency
- Review project progress reports and highlight issues affecting quality, cost, and schedule performance
- Support project reporting requirements through regular site updates and documentation
- Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of technical and operational issues
- Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure compliance with project schedules and quality requirements
- Assist in the review of subcontractor variations, claims, and site-related issues
- Prepare as-built drawings and support project handover documentation, manuals, and close-out requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in civil, commercial, industrial, or building construction projects
- Proven experience supervising construction activities on major project sites
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, engineering principles, and applicable building codes
- Excellent construction scheduling, planning, and site management skills
- Strong budget monitoring, cost reporting, and project coordination experience
- Experience handling subcontractor performance, variation reports, and claims management
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams and manage third-party contractors
- UAE/GCC construction experience is a plus
- Arabic-speaking candidates are highly preferred
