We are currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Manager to join their leadership team. This is a key role responsible for overseeing all commercial, contractual, and financial aspects of major projects while ensuring profitability, risk management, contractual compliance, and successful project delivery.

- Lead all commercial activities across assigned building and infrastructure projects.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow to ensure financial objectives are achieved.
- Develop and implement commercial strategies to improve project profitability and operational efficiency.
- Provide commercial advice and support to project and senior management teams.
- Identify commercial risks and opportunities and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Review, interpret, and administer project contracts, subcontracts, and commercial agreements.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project requirements.
- Manage contract correspondence, notices, and documentation in accordance with contract conditions.
- Support the negotiation, preparation, and finalization of contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Lead the preparation, submission, negotiation, and settlement of variation claims and extension of time submissions.
- Evaluate contractual claims received from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Maintain comprehensive records and documentation to support contractual entitlements.
- Ensure timely resolution of commercial disputes and claims.
- Oversee project cost management, financial reporting, and forecasting activities.
- Review monthly commercial reports, cost-value reconciliations, and project financial performance.
- Monitor project expenditure against approved budgets and recommend corrective actions where required.
- Ensure accurate valuation, certification, and reporting of completed works.
- Support procurement strategies and subcontractor selection processes.
- Review subcontract agreements, commercial terms, and contractual obligations.
- Monitor subcontractor performance, payment certifications, and commercial compliance.
- Manage subcontract final accounts and project close-out activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Participate in commercial meetings, negotiations, and project reviews.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and leadership to commercial, contracts, and quantity surveying teams.
- Collaborate with project management teams to ensure alignment of commercial and operational objectives.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 12–15 years of experience in commercial management, quantity surveying, contracts management, or project commercial functions.
- Strong experience within large-scale construction, contracting, building, and infrastructure projects.
- Proven track record managing high-value contracts and complex commercial matters.
- Strong understanding of FIDIC contracts and contract administration practices.
- Extensive experience in claims management, variations, cost control, and project financial management.
- Knowledge of UAE construction industry regulations, practices, and contractual frameworks.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in commercial reporting systems, contract management tools, and financial analysis.
- UAE experience is highly preferred.
