Guildhall is seeking an experienced Architect with strong high-rise building experience to support design review, site coordination, and architectural execution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing drawings, resolving discrepancies, coordinating with project teams and subcontractors, and ensuring all architectural works are delivered in line with approved standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review architectural and structural drawings to ensure compliance with design requirements, codes, and regulations
  • Check specifications for all finishing trades
  • Review drawings received from the client/consultant and identify discrepancies in line with site quality procedures
  • Provide instructions, sketches, and technical information to support correct site execution
  • Attend technical meetings and coordinate closely with project managers
  • Liaise with site departments to ensure proper communication and workflow coordination
  • Maintain records related to architectural works and assigned responsibilities
  • Raise RFIs when discrepancies arise between MEP works and architectural finishes
  • Ensure familiarity with all approved material samples related to finishes
  • Review shop drawings submitted by subcontractors
  • Coordinate architectural works between subcontractors
  • Prepare detailed shop drawings when required
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Engineering from an accredited university
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in high-rise building projects
  • Must hold Classified Unlimited Floors Engineer status
  • Strong knowledge of construction codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to present and explain project details clearly
  • Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and in challenging site conditions
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
