Guildhall is seeking an Estimation Manager for our client, a leading contracting firm based in Qatar. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving the full tendering lifecycle, ensuring the delivery of competitive, accurate, and compliant bids across major construction projects. The successful candidate will lead cost planning, BOQ analysis, and risk assessments while managing a team of estimators to support strategic business growth.

- Tender Management: Review and analyze tender documents, drawings, and specifications to prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates and technical proposals.
- Cost Analysis & Strategy: Develop competitive pricing strategies, perform value engineering, and assess material, labor, and time requirements.
- Coordination & Negotiation: Collaborate with internal construction teams, consultants, and subcontractors to obtain technical clarifications and negotiate pricing.
- Risk & Compliance: Identify commercial and technical risks and ensure all submissions comply with Qatari regulations and company standards.
- Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of estimation engineers and quantity surveyors, ensuring high-quality output and continuous improvement.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management.
- Experience: 10–15+ years of experience in estimation and tendering within the construction sector, with strong exposure to the Qatar or wider GCC market.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and industry-standard estimating software such as Candy (CCS) and Primavera.
- Certifications: MMUP/UPDA certification (Grade A preferred).
- Core Competencies: Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, leadership capability, and excellent communication skills.
