Sustainability Manager

Guildhall is seeking a Sustainability Manager for our client, a leading contracting firm in Dubai, to drive and implement sustainability strategies across large-scale high-rise construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategy & Compliance: Develop and implement sustainability plans, ensuring full compliance with environmental regulations and standards
• Environmental Assessments: Conduct site assessments, carbon footprint analysis, and manage green building certifications such as LEED and BREEAM
• Operational Optimization: Advise on low-carbon technologies, renewable energy solutions, and sustainable material selection
• Waste Management: Design and implement waste reduction, recycling, and zero-waste initiatives
• Project Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, designers, and subcontractors to integrate sustainability into all project phases
• Reporting & Analysis: Track and report on environmental KPIs to senior management
• Training & Awareness: Deliver sustainability training programs and promote best practices across teams

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in sustainability, construction, or environmental consultancy
• MUST have experience with high-rise building projects (G+12 and above)
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, impact assessments, and green building standards (LEED/BREEAM)
• Experience with site-based construction or environmental consultancy roles
• MUST be based in the UAE or available for immediate joining
