Guildhall is seeking an experienced BIM Manager to lead BIM strategy, standards, and delivery for a major high-speed rail project in UAE. The role will oversee BIM implementation across all packages —civil/structures, tunnels, stations, MEP, rail systems — and ensure model quality, data integrity, and multi-party coordination across client, consultant, JV partners, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage the BIM Management Plan / BIM Execution Plan (BEP) aligned with project requirements and ISO 19650 practices.
  • Establish BIM standards, workflows, naming conventions, model structure, and Common Data Environment (CDE)governance.
  • Define BIM deliverables, LOD/LOI requirements (LOD 100–500 where applicable), and acceptance criteria across disciplines.
  • Lead multidisciplinary BIM coordination (civil, architectural, structural, MEP, systems) and manage interface alignment across packages.
  • Manage clash detection, design coordination workshops, and issue tracking to support design freeze and construction readiness.
  • Oversee federated model integration and ensure consistent data exchange between consultants, contractors, and JV partners.
  • Implement QA/QC for models and data (geometry, parameters, classifications, COBie/asset data where required).
  • Ensure model accuracy, data integrity, and compliance with project/client standards and CDE protocols.
  • Support digital handover requirements and asset information deliverables for operations/maintenance where applicable.
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders (Client/Authority, Engineer/PMC, JV partners, contractors, system integrators).
  • Provide BIM progress reporting, dashboards, and KPI tracking (model health, clashes, RFI/issue closure rates).
  • Support construction teams with model-based planning, 4D/5D coordination (if required), and site-enabled BIM workflows.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Experience: 10–12+ years in BIM / digital delivery, with major infrastructure or rail project exposure preferred (metros, rail, high-speed rail).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Architecture/Construction (Master’s is a plus).
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of BIM coordination and CDE workflows in multi-party environments (consultant/JV/contractor).
  • Proficiency with relevant tools (typical expectations): Revit, Navisworks, Civil 3D/OpenRail/InfraWorks, BIM 360/ACC or similar CDE, clash/issue management platforms.
  • Solid understanding of LOD/LOI, model QA/QC, ISO 19650 principles, and structured data delivery.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder communication, and the ability to manage BIM teams and multiple subcontractor deliverables.
