Guildhall is supporting a pharmaceutical company in the UAE with the appointment of a Commercial Director. This role will take ownership of the UAE commercial agenda, driving revenue growth, strengthening key accounts, and leading go-to-market strategy, while partnering closely with operations to ensure commercial plans align with the full manufacturing lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver the UAE commercial strategy, revenue targets, and sustainable growth plan

  • Lead market penetration plans across channels (key accounts, distributors, and strategic partners)

  • Drive pricing, margin, and commercial performance, supported by clear reporting and forecasting

  • Build strong cross-functional alignment with manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and QA

  • Translate demand signals into practical plans (forecasting, S&OP alignment, and capacity planning)

  • Identify and launch new opportunities (product lines, customer segments, and partnerships)

  • Strengthen senior-level customer relationships and negotiate high-impact agreements

  • Develop and lead a high-performing commercial team

Requirements

  • 10+ years’ experience in commercial leadership, sales, business development, or similar roles

  • 5+ years’ experience in a managerial position

  • Proven senior commercial leadership experience within the UAE market

  • Must have experience in the pharmaceutical industry, and demonstrated experience in a multinational or complex, matrix-style environment

  • Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills
