Finance Manager – Group Financials Consolidation & Reporting

Guildhall, a leading recruitment agency in Dubai, is proud to represent an esteemed client who is looking to hire a Finance Manager (Group Financials Consolidation & Reporting) as part of their Group Finance team. This position leads the Group’s consolidation and financial reporting function, ensuring accurate and timely consolidated reporting and strong financial governance across multiple entities, in line with IFRS. You’ll work closely with subsidiary finance teams, auditors, and senior leadership to maintain reporting integrity and deliver high-quality financial insight.

Key responsibilities:

Group consolidation & reporting

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements
  • Consolidate multiple subsidiaries, JVs, and associates
  • Manage intercompany eliminations (balances, transactions, unrealised profits)
  • Review subsidiary submissions for accuracy, completeness, and IFRS compliance


IFRS & technical accounting

  • Ensure Group reporting aligns with IFRS requirements (including IFRS 10/15/16, IAS 1/12/21/28/36, etc.)
  • Assess accounting treatment for complex transactions and new activities
  • Track IFRS updates and evaluate Group impact
  • Draft technical accounting papers / position memos when required

Management reporting

  • Produce consolidated dashboards, MI packs, variance analysis, and performance commentary
  • Support Board / Audit Committee reporting and senior stakeholder requests
  • Provide insight on performance trends, risks, and key movements

Statutory reporting & audit

  • Manage year-end consolidation and statutory reporting timelines
  • Coordinate group audit requirements across subsidiaries
  • Ensure audit deliverables are met and issues are closed out efficiently
  • Support financial statement disclosures / annual report preparation

Governance, controls & intercompany

  • Maintain group intercompany policies and reconciliation processes
  • Ensure consistent accounting policies across entities
  • Strengthen close timelines, reporting discipline, and group-level controls

Systems & process improvement

  • Improve consolidation/reporting efficiency (ERP / consolidation tools)
  • Support standardisation of data and chart of accounts alignment
  • Drive improvements to accuracy, speed, and quality of reporting

Requirements

  • CA / CPA / ACCA (mandatory)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (or similar)
  • 10–15 years finance experience with strong consolidation / group reporting
  • Multi-entity and multi-currency experience
  • Listed company / large group exposure preferred
  • Strong stakeholder management, documentation, and deadline delivery
