Construction Director

Guildhall is looking for a Construction Director to take full responsibility for on-site construction delivery of a prestigious waterfront development comprising luxury residential towers and mixed-use facilities. This role will lead all construction activities, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to exceptional quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and direction for site construction activities.
• Manage main contractors, subcontractors, and site teams.
• Ensure construction works align with approved designs, schedules, and budgets.
• Oversee construction sequencing, logistics, and methodology planning.
• Drive site safety culture and ensure strict HSE compliance.
• Monitor progress against programme and implement recovery strategies where required.
• Coordinate closely with the Technical Director to resolve design and technical challenges.
• Lead site reporting, cost control, and construction risk management.
• Ensure quality assurance and premium finish standards are consistently achieved.
• Represent the project in meetings with clients, consultants, and authorities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 20+ years’ experience in large-scale construction delivery.
• Strong track record delivering high-rise luxury residential or mixed-use projects.
• Experience managing complex, multi-tower developments.
• Excellent knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing, and site logistics.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience on waterfront or basement-heavy projects is an advantage.
• Willingness to relocate to Cyprus for the full project duration.
