We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR Director to lead the human resources function for a diversified construction and engineering group in the UAE. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving the HR strategy, optimizing workforce performance, and ensuring compliance with local labor laws while fostering a high-performance, collaborative, and inclusive culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives and growth plans.
  • Lead talent acquisition and retention initiatives, ensuring the organization attracts and retains top-tier professionals across multiple disciplines, including engineering, construction, and support services.
  • Oversee performance management, succession planning, and career development programs for all levels of staff.
  • Provide guidance on compensation, benefits, and reward strategies to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
  • Drive HR transformation initiatives, including digital HR systems, process improvements, and workforce analytics.
  • Foster a positive organizational culture, promoting employee engagement, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Advise senior management on HR policies, workforce planning, industrial relations, and employee relations matters.
  • Oversee learning and development initiatives, leadership programs, and succession planning frameworks.
  • Manage HR budgets and ensure operational efficiency of the HR function.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree or HR certifications (SHRM-SCP, CIPD, HRCI) preferred.
  • 12–15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, ideally within construction, engineering, or large-scale industrial organizations in the GCC.
  • Proven expertise in workforce planning, talent management, HR operations, and labor law compliance.
  • Strong experience in HR transformation, change management, and implementation of HR systems.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
