Business Development Executive

Guildhall, a leading recruitment agency in Dubai, are representing our esteemed client who our a logistics and transportation provider with over 30 years of industry experience in the UAE. They are now looking to expand their commercial team. The company specialises in steel and aluminium material movement and has built a strong reputation for reliability, timely delivery, and long-term client partnerships across the region.

Role Overview
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving new business growth within the steel and aluminium transportation sector. This role focuses on client acquisition, relationship management, and expanding the company’s footprint within the UAE market.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the local logistics landscape and the ability to independently generate and close new business opportunities.


Key Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new clients within the steel and aluminium sector
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers
• Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations
• Prepare commercial proposals and quotations
• Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth service delivery
• Maintain regular follow-ups and ensure high levels of client satisfaction
• Achieve agreed sales targets and revenue objectives

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in business development or client management within transportation/logistics
• Strong knowledge of the UAE transportation and logistics market
• Experience dealing with steel or aluminium companies is highly preferred
• Existing client network within the sector is a strong advantage
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated and target-driven mindset
• Ability to work independently and manage the full sales cycle
• UAE driving licence preferred
• Must be currently based in the UAE
