We are seeking a highly experienced GCC Marketing Director to join the largest manufacturer and service provider of oil and gas equipment in China. Responsible for developing sales strategies, client acquisition, and market expansion for oilfield services in GCC countries (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain), with a focus on drilling & workover, coiled tubing & fracturing, EOR (chemical/gas injection), and digital oilfield solutions (smart wells, remote monitoring, data analytics). Lead the sales team to achieve revenue targets, maintain key client relationships, and enhance the company’s technical brand presence in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop annual sales plans for the GCC region focusing on high-growth service areas.
  • Lead technical sales initiatives in coordination with engineering teams; oversee the full bid process including technical proposals, commercial pricing, and contract negotiation.
  • Analyze regional oilfield trends (e.g., Saudi unconventional gas, UAE demand for unconventional resources, heavy oil in Kuwait, EOR in Oman).
  • Monitor GCC policies impacting oilfield service demand.
  • Study regional competitors and industry dynamics to develop competitive market strategies.
  • Build high-level relationships with NOCs (e.g., reservoir management, field development, digital transformation teams).
  • Organize technical workshops showcasing EOR technologies (e.g., polymer flooding, CO₂ injection) and digital solutions (AI-based drilling optimization, real-time monitoring).
  • Participate in customer onboarding, pre-qualification, and clarification procedures.
  • Conduct site visits and surveys to assess logistics, construction, and project feasibility.
  • Evaluate incoming opportunities, conduct feasibility analysis, and assist in preparing advancement plans for key projects.
  • Oversee the bidding process, including documentation review, pricing strategy, and clarification submissions.
  • Support successful project delivery and post-award execution.
  • Responsible for meeting sales performance KPIs for the GCC region.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, or related digital technologies.
  • Training: Technical training in oilfield services: drilling, coiled tubing, fracturing, EOR, and oilfield digitalization.
  • Exposure to international marketing practices.

Experience:
  • Over 5 years in international oilfield service marketing OR
  • Over 3 years of oilfield service marketing experience in the MENA region.
