Their showrooms feature a curated collection of luxurious sanitary ware, granite, marble, premium ceramic and porcelain for both interior and exterior walls and flooring. In addition, they offer sleek and stylish modular kitchens, a variety of wooden-based flooring, branded electrical fittings, customised furniture, and elegant chandeliers – all designed to elevate any home with class and sophistication.
Role Summary:
The General Manager will be responsible for driving the operational, sales, and customer service performance of both showrooms. This is a hands-on leadership role, requiring a proactive approach to ensure commercial targets are met, service standards are upheld, and staff remain motivated, engaged, and high-performing. To support continued growth and uphold the brand’s high standards, our client is now seeking an experienced General Manager to lead and develop their showroom teams in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, overseeing a combined workforce of 30 team members.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of both Abu Dhabi and Al Ain showrooms.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue and meet KPIs.
- Inspire, coach, and manage a team of 30 staff, including sales associates, operations personnel, and support teams.
- Ensure an exceptional in-store customer experience in line with the brand’s reputation.
- Monitor and analyse store performance, stock levels, customer feedback, and competitor trends.
- Work closely with senior leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and business planning.
- Implement SOPs and ensure operational excellence and compliance.
- Act as a brand ambassador and key decision-maker across both sites.
- Maintain high standards of visual merchandising, cleanliness, and store presentation.
- Identify staff development needs and lead ongoing training and performance reviews.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in a retail leadership role, ideally within home furnishings, interior décor, or lifestyle retail of minimum 5 years.
- Strong commercial acumen with a successful track record in driving sales and managing multi-site operations.
- Excellent team leadership skills with experience managing 20+ staff.
- Customer-focused with a passion for creating memorable shopping experiences.
- Highly organised, proactive, and results-driven.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to travel regularly between Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
- Fluency in English required; Arabic is an advantage.
