Guildhall is seeking a qualified Mechanical and Plumbing Engineer to oversee the design, installation, and inspection of mechanical and plumbing systems for mid-rise towers and villa projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing site execution, coordinating with consultants and contractors, and ensuring full compliance with local codes and project specifications.
Location: Dubai, UAE
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and review mechanical and plumbing systems (HVAC, water supply, drainage, fire protection, gas systems) in line with project requirements.
- Prepare and verify detailed shop drawings and technical submissions for consultant approval.
- Supervise on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical and plumbing systems.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure quality standards and code compliance.
- Coordinate with architects, structural, electrical, and civil teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.
- Prepare project documentation including reports, method statements, and material submittals.
- Ensure timely procurement and material delivery in coordination with procurement team.
- Resolve technical issues and site conflicts promptly and effectively.
- Attend site and coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with authority regulations (e.g., DCD, DEWA, ADDC, etc.).
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of UAE/GCC experience in high-rise and villa construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, local authority standards, and international codes (ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (preferred), and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent site coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
