Chapman Tate have partnered with a financial solutions company who provide global platforms and are seeking a Cyber Security Project Manager to join their team in London. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and coordinating risk management, risk mitigation and recovery programs within their areas of responsibility.

My client is seeking an individual to be part of Cyber Security Technology Risk to own Technical Remediation and engage with teams to promote security awareness, influence their processes and provide expert security guidance. As a Project Manager of Cyber Security Remediation, you will also have a stake in helping build robust and secure solutions that scale to the needs of professionals that depend on the organisation’s products daily.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work in a consistently evolving and challenging environment, partnering with engineers and product teams to ensure that new product feature development is in line with security best practices.
  • Review and create threat models
  • Build and own Technical Remediation plans
  • Identify common themes so that the business can start initiatives to remediate
  • Coordinate remediation of any application security weaknesses uncovered.
  • Promote the use of automation tools to assist manual reviews in identifying issues. Promote security training and awareness in the organization.
Required Experience:
  • Experience in Cyber security or application security
  • Experience in software development lifecycle
  • Understanding of remediation logging, planning and ongoing activities
  • Understanding of web stack, web security and common vulnerabilities.
  • Knowledge around Qualys scanning
  • Good understanding around project management tool such as Jira.
  • Experience with automation tools and deployments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Hold good leadership qualities with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
