Chapman Tate are working with an established company based in Reading who are a global leader within manufacturing and design of musical equipment. Due to business growth they are looking for an established IT Support Engineer to be based in their offices to work on projects dedicated to new technology upgrades.

 

Working with the following technologies will form part of the role:

·         Office 365 covering SharePoint and Teams

·         Exchange Server up to 2016

·         Virtualisation – VMware covering upgrades, migrations, implementation and administration

·         Active Directory covering GPO, ADFS, Domain controls and permissions

·         Firewall Technologies and Configuration

·         VPN Technologies

·         Trouble shooting and diagnostic experience via logs and reports

·         DHCP/DNS/WINS/TCPIP/GPO

·         Web server management

 

Your duties as a IT Support Engineer will be to:

·         Assisting 1st line support and development with complex issues related to databases, webservers, advanced networking (routing/firewall/LAN/WLAN/WAN) or any other infrastructure related topics.

·         Plan, deploy and support IT infrastructure solutions throughout the European Organisation applying best practices

·         Automating/scripting reoccurring tasks and problems including advanced O365 and Azure automation.

·         Eager to learn and will be receptive to new information and skills
